PEANUTS Celebration at Knott's Berry Farm

When you join the PEANUTS gang at the annual PEANUTS Celebration at Knott’s Berry Farm, you’ll find yourself fully immersed in the iconic world of the Charles M. Schultz comic strips. This PEANUTS-themed celebration takes place on weekends from January 25-March 1, 2020 and truly brings these characters to life as soon as you enter Knott’s Berry Farm. From themed food offerings to character meet-and-greets to brand-new PEANUTS shows, it’s the perfect time to visit!

From the moment you arrive, you’ll encounter Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Peppermint Patty, Linus and other members of the PEANUTS gang throughout the park. Smile for photos with your favorite character or pose in front of a comic strip backdrop to become a comic strip character yourself. Life-sized props like Charlie Brown’s kite and his famous thought bubbles will add a pop of whimsy to your Instagram pics.

For the most epic photo op of the PEANUTS Celebration, be sure to visit on Sunday, February 2 when Charlie Brown fans get decked out in Charlie Brown’s signature outfit—bright yellow zig-zag striped tee, black shorts and red baseball cap. This massive gathering of Charlie Browns will head to the Calico Mine Stage for a photo with Charlie Brown himself.

Young guests will especially enjoy their visit to Camp Snoopy during the PEANUTS Celebration where they can ride the Beagle Bonanza at the Grand Sierra Railroad. The Camp Snoopy Theater hosts Space Beagle, a story with Charlie Brown and Lucy where the world’s most famous beagle becomes the first dog on the moon.

Head to Calico’s Town Hall to see the Pigskin PEANUTS Exhibit, organized by the Charles M. Schulz Museum. This exhibit chronicles PEANUTS’ football-themed storylines and traces the origins of the most iconic PEANUTS gag—Lucy pulling away the football from Charlie Brown.

After you’ve seen some of the PEANUTS history, learn cartooning skills at the PEANUTS Sketch School where the resident art teacher will guide aspiring cartoonists through the steps needed to create their very own PEANUTS comic strip.
