Travel back in time and experience what life was like in the 1800s by touring the Buena Park Historic District, featuring several preserved buildings. The free tours include the two-story Whitaker-Jaynes House (Circa 1887) which also serves as Buena Park's local history museum, the Bacon House (Circa 1884), one of the oldest surviving structures in Orange County, and the Dreger Clock, built in the 1930s by Andrew Dreger Sr., whose family were pioneers to the early settlements of Anaheim, Long Beach and Buena Park. Both house museums are furnished much as they would have been at the turn of the century and are open to the public by the Buena Park Historical Society.
